After graduating from Palmer College, Dr. Estefan worked for 3 years in a multiple disciplinary, occupational health clinic in Holland, Michigan.  There he managed patients who had suffered spinal injuries related to work activities.  He played a key role in injury prevention through ergonomic consulting at several large manufacturing facilities throughout West Michigan such as Landscape Design Services, Howard Miller, Spartan, and Kraft.
In 2003 Dr. Estefan opened Lakeshore Chiropractic in it's original location on Cottonwood Dr. in Jenison, MI. In 2008 Lakeshore Chiropractic relocated to 1838 Baldwin in order to better serve patients through expanded services. Dr. Estafan continues to focus on blending chiropractic care with physical rehabilitaion to achieve the best results for his patients. Since opening Lakeshore Chiropractic, Dr. Estefan has completed a 3 year post-graduate degree in physical rehabilitation through Southern California University of Health Sciences.  He is eligible to sit for the diplomate exam with the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board.  In addition Dr. Estefan is also Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. Dr. Estefan continues to study new developments in sports medicine and physical rehabilitation.

Dr. Estefan’s case management philosophy is based on the premise that musculoskeletal injuries encompass 3 aspects:

1) Altered joint motion and quality of motion

2) Muscle and soft tissue injury

3) Nervous system control of the stabilizing muscles of the affected joints

The individual aspects of each injury are unique and are best addressed through a unique combination of manipulative therapy and rehabilitative exercises specific for each case.

Outside of the practice, Dr. Estefan enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and competitive cycling.
